- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. flour (unsifted)
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. finely chopped apples
- 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans or black walnuts
Directions

1Beat egg and sugar well in a small mixing bowl; sift flour with baking powder and cinnamon.

3Stir in vanilla, apples and nuts.

4Spoon batter into a well-greased and floured 8 x 8 x2-inch pan; bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until crusty brown on top.

5Let pudding cool about 1/2 hour before serving.
