  • 1 large, round flat loaf, sourdough Italian
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1/2 c. olive oil
  • 3 fresh tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. capers, drained
  • 1 cucumber, peeled and sliced
  • 12 pitted black olives
  • 1/4 lb. hard salami
  • 1/4 lb. Mozzarella, sliced
  • 1 small red onion, sliced
  • lettuce
  • 1 small jar artichoke hearts, drained
  • salt, pepper and dried oregano

    Slice bread in half horizontally.

    Rub each half with garlic and dribble with oil.

    Add ingredients in layers evenly over bottom half.

    Season with salt, pepper and oregano.
