- 2 cups Corn Flakes Crumbs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup PET Evaporated Milk
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil
- 1 1/2 pounds tilapia catfish or perch fillets, about 1/2-inch thick, cut into serving-size pieces
Directions

1COMBINE corn flake crumbs, salt and pepper on wax paper. Blend milk and egg in shallow dish or pie plate. Dip fish fillets in egg mixture. Coat with crumbs.

2HEAT oil to 365°F in electric skillet. Fry a few pieces of fish at a time about 2 or 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Turn as needed for even browning. Add more oil if needed. Drain on paper towels. Serve immediately.
