Pan-Fried Spring Cabbage with Garlic

  • 1/2 Spring cabbage
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 Coarsely ground black pepper

Directions

    Cut the cabbage into 4 wedges.

    Secure the wedges with toothpicks in about 2 places per wedge so that the leaves don't fall off.

    Wash and drain off the excess water from the wedges.

    Heat a pan, add olive oil and garlic, and stir-fry over low heat.

    Put in the cabbage wedges, and fry over medium-high heat.

    Brown both sides of the wedges.

    Drizzle soy sauce to finish.

    Transfer to serving plates, take out the toothpicks, add plenty of black pepper and enjoy.
