- 1 cup dark corn syrup
- 13 cup butter
- 13 cup packed brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees farenheit.

2Grease and flour 3 large baking sheets.

3In a medium saucepan over medium heat, stir corn syrup and butter until butter melts.

4Remove from heat.

5Stir in brown sugar and milk; set aside for 10 minutes.

6In a large bowl, combine ots, flour, baking powder and ginger.

7Stir in syrup mixture.

8Drop dough by rounded teaspoons, 2 inches apart, on prepared baking sheets.

9Bake 9 to 13 minutes, or until deep golden brown.

10Cool on racks.

11Store in airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week or freeze for longer storage.
