  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • 13 cup butter
  • 13 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees farenheit.

    Grease and flour 3 large baking sheets.

    In a medium saucepan over medium heat, stir corn syrup and butter until butter melts.

    Remove from heat.

    Stir in brown sugar and milk; set aside for 10 minutes.

    In a large bowl, combine ots, flour, baking powder and ginger.

    Stir in syrup mixture.

    Drop dough by rounded teaspoons, 2 inches apart, on prepared baking sheets.

    Bake 9 to 13 minutes, or until deep golden brown.
