  • 12 cup butter (or margarine or chicken fat or a mix of whatever you have)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 34 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 12 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 eggs

Directions

    Boil butter, milk, and sugar in a saucepan on medium high heat.

    Sift together flour, salt, and nutmeg.

    Pour boiling mix into dry mix and stir until smooth.

    Add well-beaten eggs (one at a time) and mix thoroughly.

    Drop by spoonful into boiling soup.
