- 8 (1-inch thick) slices French bread
- 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp. dried Italian seasoning, crushed
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Brush 1 side of each slice of French bread with melted margarine or butter.

2Sprinkle buttered sides of bread with Italian seasoning, then with Parmesan cheese.

3Place bread slices, cheese side up, on the unheated rack of a broiler pan.

4Broil 4 to 5 inches from the heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is golden and bubbly.

5Makes 8 slices.
