Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/4 c. lukewarm milk, scalded
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. margarine, softened
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley

Directions

    Soften yeast in water; cut margarine into sifted flour, sugar and salt.

    Add yeast, egg and milk.

    Beat well.

    Stir in cheese and parsley.

    Put into well-greased 8-inch square pan.

    Cover and let rise until double.

    Dot with margarine and bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes.
