Parmesan Fritters

Ingredients

  • 1 cup self raising flour
  • 3/4 - 1 cup water
  • pinch salt
  • 1 tablespoon KRAFT* Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • oil to shallow fry
  • 3/4 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons CLASSICO Traditional Basil Pesto Sauce and Spread

Directions

    Mix the flour, water, salt and parmesan until thick and smooth.

    In a separate bowl combine ricotta cheese and pesto.

    Heat oil in a large fry pan.
  4. 4
    Drop 2 tablespoons of parmesan mixture into pan, top with 1 tablespoon of ricotta and pesto and finish with another 2 tablespoons of parmesan mixture.

    Turn over fritter and cook until golden.

    Serve plain for the kids and with a spicy chilli or tomato sauce for the adults.
