Ingredients
- 4 c. fresh broccoli
- 4 c. fresh cauliflower
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 2 c. mayonnaise
- 1 lb. bacon, crumbled
- 1 large head lettuce (bite size pieces)
- 2 c. seasoned croutons
- 1 (8 oz.) sliced water chestnuts
Directions

1In large bowl, break broccoli and cauliflower into bite size pieces.

2Combine with onion.

3In small bowl, combine sugar, cheese, salt, basil and mayonnaise.

4Mix well.

5Toss vegetables and dressing.

6Refrigerate overnight.

7Just before serving, add remaining ingredients.
