Parmesan-Walnut Bread

Ingredients
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 3/4 c. milk
- 1/3 c. walnut oil or cooking oil
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
Directions

1In large mixing bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients.

2In a small mixing bowl, stir together the egg, milk and oil.

3Add to flour mixture, stirring until combined.

4Stir in 3/4 cup of nuts. Turn into a greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.

5Sprinkle the remaining nuts over the top.

6Bake at 350° for about 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

7Cool in pan 10 minutes.

8Remove loaf from pan; cool completely on a wire rack. Wrap and store overnight before slicing.
