Party Ginger Beef Bites

- 3 lbs lean beef
- 6 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped fresh ginger
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup dry sherry or 1/4 cup vermouth
- 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
Directions

1Trim beef and cut into 3/4 inch cubes.

2In a medium bowl, combine the garlic and all of the liquid ingredients. Add meat and toss to coat. Refrigerate 1-2 hours or overnight.

3Soak bamboo skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.

4Prepare a hot fire. Drain meat, reserving marinade, and pat dry.

5Thread 2-3 chunks of meat per skewer. Grill over hot coals, turning once and brushing with reserved marinade.
