Party Pizza Base

- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 14 cup margarine (50g)
- 23 cup milk (150mL)
- pizza toppings, of choice
Directions

1If using vegetables for topping, lightly saute vegetables first.

2Set aside.

3Preheat oven to 220 degrees Celsius.

4Line baking tray with baking paper.

5Put flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl and rub in margarine until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.

6Add enough milk to form a soft dough.

7Knead lightly.

8On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to a 25cm/ 10 inch circle.

9Place the dough on the baking tray and pinch up edges to make a rim.

10Spread tomato puree on base, and 2 tBsp herbs if desired.

11Bake for 25-30 min until cooked and golden brown.

12Serve hot or cold in slices.

13Freeze for up to 3 months.
