Ingredients
- 1 lb fine ground beef
- 1 tablespoon dry breadcrumbs
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 2 cups peeled chopped tomatoes
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup red wine
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
Directions

1Combine meat, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, nutmeg and chili powder. Form into quite small sized meatballs.

2Heat oil in frypan, brown meatballs, add onion and garlic. When browned, add tomatoes, chicken broth, wine and tomato paste. Simmer 30 minutes.

3Season with salt and pepper.

4Serve over thin spaghetti al dente.

5Top with parmesan cheese.
