- 1/2 c. margarine or butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 c. potato starch
- 1/2 c. matzo cake meal
- 7 Tbsp. cocoa
- hot water
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Grease 9 x 9-inch pan or mini cupcake tin (48 count).

2Preheat oven to 350°.

3In bowl, beat together butter and sugar.

4Add eggs, 1 at a time.

5Sift together potato starch and meal in separate bowl.

6Make a paste of cocoa and water.

7Add to wet ingredients. Mix well.

8Add sifted ingredients.

9Mix gently.
-
10Pour into pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or if cupcakes, 12 minutes.

11Yields 16 squares or 48 mini cupcakes.
