- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, mashed
- 3 anchovy fillets
- 1/2 lb. Gaeta olives, pitted
- 1/2 tsp. salted capers
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 14 oz. peeled Italian tomatoes, drained and diced
- 1 lb. spaghetti
Directions

1In heavy skillet, put olive oil and garlic; saute briefly. Lower flame.

2Add anchovies and mash with fork.

3Add tomatoes; cover and cook at high flame for 5 minutes, stirring at least twice.

4Add Gaeta olives and capers; cook at medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.

5Remove from flame and add parsley. Pour over cooked pasta; serve hot.

6Black pepper may be added to taste.
