Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 4 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/4 c. pine nuts (get at natural food store)
  • 1 bunch broccoli
  • 12 oz. cooked stove pipe or rigatoni
  • freshly grated Romano cheese
  • pepper to taste

Directions

    Heat oil in a large skillet.

    Saute garlic one minute while stirring.
  3. 3
    Add pine nuts and stir for two minutes.
  4. 4
    Add broccoli which has been cut into approximately 1-inch pieces.
  5. 5
    Saute and stir until broccoli is crisp-tender.

    Add cooked, well drained pasta and toss several times.
  7. 7
    Serve with grated cheese on top and pepper to taste.
