  • One 5 oz. package Farmhouse(R) Four Cheese Pasta
  • 2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 3 oz. prosciutto or ham cut in thin strips
  • 5 oz. frozen peas, thawed
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1-1/4 cups warm water
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    In medium sauce pan, melt butter or margarine. Add prosciutto and cook 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently.

    Add peas, Italian seasoning, nutmeg, water, milk, pasta and contents of seasoning packet. Heat to a boil, stirring frequently. Reduce heat and low-boil uncovered 12 minutes, stirring frequently, until tender.

    Remove from heat. Stir in ricotta cheese and Parmesan cheese. Let stand for 5 minutes. Sauce will thicken as it stands.
