Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 4 oz. pimento
  • 1 mild onion, chopped
  • 1 medium cucumber, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 lb. pasta
  • 3 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. vinegar

Directions

    Cook and blanch pasta with salad oil.

    Cool.

    Cook together the sugar and vinegar.

    Set aside to cool, then add ingredients and mix with cooled pasta.

    Can be made one or two days ahead. (Use large shell mostaccioli noodles.)
