  • 1 medium head broccoli, cut in bite size pieces
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/2 c. white wine or chicken broth
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 oz. pasta
  • grated cheese for topping

Directions

    Cook pasta as directed on package.

    Melt butter in olive oil. Saute onion until translucent.

    Add garlic; simmer 1 minute.

    Add broccoli and wine or broth; simmer 3 minutes.

    In a large bowl mix pasta with mixture.

    Toss well.

    Serve immediately with grated cheese for topping.
