Pasta with Calamari

Ingredients
- 1 large Tomato
- 1 to 2 Calamari (squid)
- 250 grams Pasta
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Black pepper or regular pepper
- 1 Basil (fresh or dried)
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 boil in a pot Hot water (salted)
Directions

1While the water for the pasta is boiling, cut the calamari into edible sizes.

2Remove but do not throw out the guts.

3Heat olive oil in a pan and saute the garlic.

4Add tomato and dried basil, and continue to saute.

5Add the calamari guts when the tomato starts to break apart.

6When the pasta is just about finished, add the calamari into the pan.

7Add freshly cooked pasta into the pan and saute lightly as you toss with the sauce.

8Add fresh basil to finish.

9You can omit the fresh basil if you want.
