- 4 c. self-rising flour
- 1 1/4 c. shortening
- 1 egg
- 2/3 c. ice water
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
Directions

1Cut shortening into flour until fine.

2Beat egg and add vinegar, while stirring briskly.

3Add about 2/3 cup ice water. Mix the ingredients together until a soft dough (may need more water).

4Let chill until the next day or several hours.

5Roll out into assorted pie pans.

6May freeze some until needed.
