- 34 cup dried cranberries
- 12 cup chopped onion
- 12 cup shelled pistachio nut
- 13 cup port wine or 13 cup cranberry juice
- 14 cup light cream
- 14 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground pork
Directions

1preheat oven to 350.

2grease a loaf pan.

3beat egg--add ALL ingredients and mix well.

4press mixture into loaf pan, cover with foil, bake for 1 1/2 hours.

5drain fat from pan.

6cover pate with tin foil, loosely.

7place another loaf pan atop the pate, fill with cans to weigh it down.

8refrigerate for up to 2 days.

9to serve-invert onto platter, serve with toast points or crackers.
