Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 1/2 c. castor sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. corn flour (heaping)
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 4 Tbsp. boiling water

Directions

    Place all ingredients in large mixing bowl and beat until stiff enough to stand in peaks.

    Place mixture on well-greased slide or ovenproof plate and bake at 350° for 10 minutes, then turn oven down to 230° for 1 hour.

    Leave in oven to cool. Decorate with whipped cream and fruit.
