  • 3 cups matzo farfel
  • 1-1/4 cups water
  • 4 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 4 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, finely chopped (about 6 cups)
  • 1 can (8 oz.) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 cup PLANTERS Walnut Pieces
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

    Preheat oven to 350F.

    Place matzo farfel and water in large bowl; let stand 15 min.

    or until softened.

    Add eggs, apples, pineapple and walnuts; stir until well blended.

    Spoon into greased 13x9-inch baking dish; sprinkle evenly with cinnamon.

    Bake 1 hour or until top is browned and edges are crisp.
