- 1 c. chopped celery
- 2 medium onions, finely chopped
- 1/2 c. butter or oleo
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces
- 1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
- 1 (24 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, thawed
- 1/2 c. herb seasoned stuffing mix
Directions

1Saute celery and onion in butter.

2Blend in flour and salt. Add liquid from mushrooms.

3Cook, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened.

4Mix mushrooms, water chestnuts and peas in 1 1/2-quart casserole.

5Spoon sauce over.

6Mix gently.

7Sprinkle stuffing mix over.

8Bake 30 minutes at 325°.
