Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. sour cream
  • 1/3 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. tarragon leaves
  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 6 to 7 slices bacon
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/4 lb. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 pkg. (20 oz.) frozen peas, thawed
  • Salt and pepper

Directions

    Blend sour cream, mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, tarragon and nutmeg. Cover the dressing and chill until serving time.

    Cook cut up bacon and onions until done, drain off fat.

    Mix peas, mushrooms, bacon and onions and chill thoroughly.

    At serving time, pour dressing over pea mixture and mix thoroughly.
