  • 1 smoked ham hock
  • 2 pounds of cubed cooked ham
  • 2 packages of green peas
  • 12 cups of water
  • 2 onions
  • 3 leaks
  • 4 cups of celery
  • 3 carrots
  • salt
  • pepper

Directions

    soak peas overnight & drain

    add water, ham hock, ham, onions,leeks celery, carrots,salt and pepper.

    Bring to boil, cover and simmer until ingredients are 'mushy'.
