  • ham bone
  • leftover ham (optional)
  • 1 big onion
  • 4 celery ribs
  • 3 medium carrots
  • yellow split peas
  • garlic
  • salt and pepper

    Boil ham bone for 3 hrs in large pot to get a broth.

    Dice onion, celery, carrots.

    Remove bone, add vegetables, peas and seasoning.
