- 1 1/4 c. coconut, toasted
- 1/3 c. nuts
- 2 1/2 to 3 c. chilled and thinly sliced peaches, sweetened (fresh, frozen or canned)

Directions

1Beat together egg whites, salt and cream of tartar until foamy.

2Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.

3Fold in 1 cup of the coconut and the nuts. Spread in a well buttered 9-inch pie plate, building up the sides.
