Peach Blueberry Fruit Pie

  • 2 c. sliced, peeled peaches
  • 2 c. blueberries
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • pie crust for two crust pie

Directions

    In large bowl, combine peaches, blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and nutmeg; mix lightly.

    Spoon into pie crust-lined 9-inch pan.

    Dot with margarine.

    Top with second crust.

    Flute edges and slash design in top crust.

    Sprinkle lightly with sugar.

    Bake at 425° for 50 to 60 minutes or until golden brown.

    Serve with vanilla ice cream if desired.
