Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 1/4 c. fresh or canned peaches (if canned are used, drain)
  • 1/2 c. almonds or pecans, chopped
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp. almond extract

Directions

    Blend all ingredients until moistened.

    Pour into greased loaf pan and bake for 1 hour at 350°.

    May be used for muffins; bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
