Peach Bread

  • 1 pkg. Jiffy corn muffin mix
  • 1 pkg. Jiffy cake mix
  • large can Libby's peach halves or desired brand
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten (for low cholesterol, use 3 egg whites)
  • approximately 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine

Directions

    Empty contents of muffin and cake mix into large bowl.

    Peaches can be chopped or left in halves.
  3. 3
    Peaches also must be drained of juice.

    Combine peaches, eggs, butter and milk.

    Mix all the ingredients with a cake mixer or beat with hand strokes.

    Batter can be whipped or slightly thick.

    Bake at 350° to 375° in a greased pan.

    Baking time is approximately 30 minutes or when browning on top.

    Served best after cooling at room temperature.
