  • 4 c. sliced peaches
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. Amaretto or 1 Tbsp. almond extract
  • 1 pkg. pie crust (2 shells)
  • 1 Tbsp. tapioca or cornstarch

Directions

    Bring to boil; pour 1/2 peaches into Pyrex pan.

    Cut up 1 pie crust and layer over peaches.

    Pour in rest of peaches.

    Top with other pie crust.

    Sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar.

    Cut slashes in crust.

    Bake at 400° for 20 to 30 minutes.
