- 1 stick margarine (1/2 c.)
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 (No. 2 1/2) can sliced peaches *
Directions

1Melt margarine in a 9 x 9-inch pan in oven.

2Pour a mixture of the first 5 ingredients over the margarine. Top with sliced peaches, saving 1/2 of the juice-liquid.

3As the flour mixture rises above the fruit and starts to brown, pour saved liquid-juice over it evenly.

4Bake at 375° for 35 to 45 minutes.
