Peach Cookie Sundae

- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 5 c. peaches, peeled and sliced
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1 (20 oz.) pkg. refrigerator sugar cookie dough
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Stir together sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and corn syrup in a mixing bowl.

3Add peaches and mix well.

4Pour mixture into an 8 x 8-inch baking dish.

5Slice cookie dough into 1/2-inch slices.

6Place slices on top of peach mixture. Bake for 1 hour or until golden brown.

7Cool and serve with ice cream, if desired.
