Peach Cream Pie

- 2 boxes frozen peaches or equal amount fresh peaches, sliced
- 1/2 pt. coffee cream or 1 small can evaporated milk
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 deep dish pastry shells
Directions

1Combine sugar and cornstarch.

2Put 1/4 the amount in bottom of pie shell.

3Put in peaches, arranging slices close together. Sprinkle remaining sugar mixture over peaches.

4Pour cream over all.

5Strip top with pastry.

6Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.

7Reduce to 375° to finish baking (about 45 minutes).
