- 5 to 6 fresh peaches or 1 (29 oz.) can sliced peaches, drained
- 2/3 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. oats
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/3 c. butter, softened
Directions

1If using fresh peaches, drop in boiling water about 15 seconds; drain and slip off skins.

2Butter an 8 or 9-inch square baking pan and slice the peaches into it.

3Mix the remaining ingredients in a bowl and sprinkle over the peaches.

4Bake in a preheated 375° oven for 30 minutes.

5Serve warm with ice cream.
