Peach Custard Pie

  • 5 peaches
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 pastry shell - 9 inch

Directions

    Peel and cut in half the 5 peaches.

    Mix together flour and brown sugar.

    Sprinkle over pastry in pie pan.

    Arrange peaches, cut side up in sugar mixture.

    Mix together, milk and egg, beat slightly and pour over peaches.

    Mix together 1/3 cup sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg and sprinkle over top of pie.

    Bake at 425° for 40 to 50 minutes; until knife inserted comes out clean.
