  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1-1/2 qt. raspberry preserves
  • 3 qt. Canned sliced peaches, drained
  • 1 pkg. JELL-O Vanilla Whip N Chill Mousse
  • 1 qt. cold water
  • 4 tsp. CRYSTAL LIGHT Citrus Blend Drink Mix
  • 2 qt. frozen strawberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 qt. prepared DREAM WHIP Whipped Topping

Directions

    Prepare cake batter as directed on package.

    Pour evenly into 8 (9-inch) round layer pans (or 2 layer pans for trial recipe).

    Bake as directed on package.

    Remove cake layers from pans; cool completely on wire racks.

    Cut each layer horizontally in half to form 2 layers.

    Prepare Whip N Chill with electric mixer as directed on package.

    Add dry drink mix; beat on low speed 1 minute.

    Spread 3/4 cup of the preserves evenly onto each of the bottom halves of the cake layers; top each with layers of 1-1/2 cups of the peaches and 2 cups of the Whip N Chill mixture.

    Cover with top cake layers.

    Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

    Toss strawberries with sugar in large saucepan.

    Bring to boil on medium-high heat.

    Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 15 minutes or until strawberries are very soft, stirring occasionally.

    Strain strawberries; discard seeds.

    Refrigerate strawberry sauce until ready to use.

    Cut each dessert into 8 slices.
