- 8 lb. peaches
- 2 Tbsp. whole cloves
- 8 (2-inch) pieces stick cinnamon
- 2 lb. sugar
- 1 qt. vinegar
Directions

1Wash and peel peaches.

2Put cloves and cinnamon loosely in clean, white cloth and tie top tightly.

3Cook together spices, sugar and vinegar for 10 minutes.

4Add peaches.

5Cook slowly until tender, but not broken.

6Remove from stove.

7Let stand overnight.
