  • 4 sticks cinnamon
  • 3 lb. sugar (brown is good)
  • 1 pt. water
  • 2 Tbsp. cloves

    Peel peaches into a solution of 1 gallon of water with 1 tablespoon salt and 2 tablespoons of vinegar.

    This will prevent discoloring of peaches.
