Peach Pie

  • 6 to 8 sliced peaches
  • 5 to 6 pieces white bread
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 beaten egg

Directions

    Place peaches in bottom of 9 to 10-inch Pyrex pie plate. Remove crust from bread and cut into strips.

    Place bread strips over peaches and make sure all peaches are covered.

    Melt butter, mix with sugar, flour and egg.

    Mix well and spoon over bread. Bake at 350° for 35 or 45 minutes until brown.
