  • 2/3 c. to 1 c. white sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 egg
  • 6 c. peaches
  • 3 Tbsp. grenadine syrup
  • butter
  • whipped cream

Directions

    Combine white sugar, flour, nutmeg and egg.

    Blend well.

    Add the peaches and toss to coat.

    Let stand for 5 minutes.

    Mix in grenadine syrup and pour mixture into uncooked pie crust (deep dish).

    Dot with butter, cover with top crust or lattice strips and bake at 375° for 50 to 60 minutes.

    If served cold, top with whipped cream.
