Peach Plum Jam

  • 2 cups peeled, pitted and finely chopped peaches
  • 2 cups pitted and finely chopped plums
  • 7 cups sugar
  • 1 pouch Certo Liquid Pectin

Directions

    MEASURE prepared fruit in a large saucepan.

    ADD sugar to fruit and mix well.

    PLACE saucepan over high heat.

    Bring to a full rolling boil and boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat.

    IMMEDIATELY stir in fruit pectin.

    STIR and skim for 7 minutes to prevent floating fruit.

    POUR quickly into warm, sterilized jars filling up to 1/4 inch from rim.

    SEAL while hot with sterilized 2-piece lids with new centres.
