- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 egg, beaten hard
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/3 c. milk
- 4 c. chopped peaches, fresh, frozen or canned, thoroughly drained
- 1 c. sugar
Directions

1Cream butter and 2/3 cup sugar.

2Add beaten egg.

3Sift together flour and baking powder.

4Add alternately with milk. Beat until smooth.

5Pour over peaches that have been covered with 1 cup sugar in 1 1/2-quart casserole.

6Bake 40 minutes at 350°.
