- 1 qt. half and half
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 c. whipping cream
- 3 lb. fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 c. cognac
- 2/3 c. peach Schnapps
Directions

1Scald half and half. Stir in sugar until dissolved. Add vanilla and eggs. Cook in top of double boiler, stirring constantly, until mixture coats a spoon.

2Chill.

3Stir in whipping cream and place in ice cream freezer.
