   Cut the peaches in half and take out the stone.

   Slice the peaches and place them in a medium pot.

   Add the sugar and water.

   Bring to a boil over medium heat.

   Once the mixture is boiling, turn off the heat and let it cool (30-40 minutes).

    Strain the mixture using cheesecloth or a coffee filter.

    Store the syrup in an airtight container in the fridge.
