- 1 (9 inch) pie crusts, baked and chilled
- 5 -6 ripe peaches, peeled and halved
- 1 cup light cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 13 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- whipped cream (optional)
Directions

1Arrange peach halves, pitted side up in a baked shell.

2Combine cream, vanilla, eggs and a 1/4 sugar, beat until well blended.

3Pour around peaches in shell.

4Dot the tops of peaches with butter; sprinkle with remaining sugar.

5Bake in a 350 oven for 1 hour, until the crust is golden brown and the filling is set.

6Serve with whipped cream if desired.
