- 6 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
- 400 ml red wine
- 3/4 cup sugar

1Peel the peaches--to do it easily, boil them for about 10 seconds, then peel off the skin.

2Slice them.

3Put the peeled, sliced peaches in a bowl, add about half a bottle of red wine to cover.

4The type of wine isn't so important, but it has to be decent and drinkable.

5I used a 3 dollar bottle of Cotes du Rhone yesterday.

6Pour in the sugar and stir.

7Must sit for 6 hours in the fridge, minimum.

8Serve in pretty glasses or dishes.

9If you feel you need something else to go with it, try some kind of crunchy cookie or macaroon.
